you to Esna which is
located about 50 kilometers south of Luxor. The town's Greek

the goddess Neith, who was sacred to the area. While
in Esna
you will visit the city and local markets.
Following
is a visit to the Great Hypostyle Hall and Temple of Khnum which
lies in a pit below the level of houses in Esna, is dedicated to the god,
Khnum. This, the ram God that was worshipped through out this area
and who fashioned mankind from mud of the Nile on his potter's wheel.
Next
is a visit to the most preserved temple in Egypt, the Temple
of Horus, which is located in Edfu. The Temple of Horus was
built in the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to the Falcon
God Horus with its Great First Pylon, considered one of
Egypt's largest pylons. The Great Falcon monument is carved
