Day 1:
Upon arrival in Cairo our representative who will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. Transfer from the airport via private A/C car or mini-bus to your hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 2:
Today starts with a guided tour in Giza to visit the legendary majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerionos to view these spectacular man-made monuments. Afterwards a tour of the great Sphinx; guarding the Royal Burial Chambers and temple of Cheops.

NOTE: Before going to the Egyptian museum this is the best time to take a break for lunch (not included in price) or visit to Papyrus Gallery (included in tour price).

In the afternoon visit the Egyptian museum.

And finally a visit the legendary Khan El Khalili bazaar district for shopping.  Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 3:
Breakfast and check out of hotel. The day starts with a drive from Cairo to the Sinai region, crossing the Suez Canal. Drive along the coast past the spring of Ayun Musa. Next stop is at Wadi Firan, the biggest oasis in Sinai.  Continue driving to St. Catherine Monastery. Overnight in Camp.

Day 4:
Today starts with a climb on Mount Sinai at Jebel Muse - 2,285 meters. Then a visit the Monastery (if open). Half the day is devoted to making all the arrangements.

On foot trek from the Sheikh’s to Abu Giffa Pass. It is man-made and part of the road to the ruins of the Palace of Abbas Basha. Stop at the top of the pass for a north-eastern view - look out over the El Raha valley, new village of El Millga and see an old tiger trap. Next descend into the Tubug valley and follow it until it meets Wadi Shagg. All along the way there are beautiful gardens. It is strictly forbidden to enter, unless invited. Along Wadi Shagg there are waterholes and pools, giant boulders, and ruins of buildings from the Byzantine period.

Continue to Wadi Ghazna - make our way at an easy pace west to the crossroad of the Zawatin-Naqb Gibal. Here there is a group of ancient olives trees. According to the Gibaliyah tribesmen, these trees were planted by the founder of the tribe. This is our first night stop. (If there is time, we may go on through Naqb Gibal towards Gibal Valley, where there are copses and wells, and stop there to shorten the next day’s hiked.)

Day 5:
Today starts with a trek ascending Naqb Gibal towards Gibal Valley and then descend to the berry tree at the end. From there climb a winding footpath called Um Siha to the top to lookout over Wadi Gibal and the rest of our route. Here is where the primeval landscape of Gibal Bab begins - pass through two beautiful valleys, Farsh Asara and Farsh Arnab, climb one of the following mountains: Ras Abu Alda, 2165 meters high, or Gebel Abu Gasba. From these summits the view is of primeval beauty. The climb is recommended for fit hikers together with an experienced guide. From here pass through the only fresh water spring, Ein Nagila. Then begin our descent to our next night camp through Naqb Bahariya to a Farsh El Romana. If there is time,  visit Bab el Dunya to enjoy the view to the south-west and ruins of a Byzantine monastery before making Camp the second night.

Day 6:
Today using rope and guide assistance, descend into a narrow canyon, enter a narrow path where berry trees grow and reach the zenith of our excursion - a group of waterholes and pools called Galt El Azraq, where we can refresh and rest. Warning - the water is very cold! Then follow an ancient foot path, Umm Sila, to our next night camp Farsh Um Sila. If time allows, continue to Farsh Tuweita, a very quaint place to make camp for the third night.

Day 7:
Today take an easy route down Wadi Tuweita towards Wadi Tinya, south-eastward in a camel pass to Gebel’ Abbas Basha. Leave our heavy gear here and collect it on our way down the mountain. The climb is worth while and recommended. The path up is paved, an easy climb, and has a splendid view at  the top at 2304 meters. This panoramic is one of the most breathtaking in the High Mountain range. Then ascent to pick up our gear and continue down on a paved path through Wadis Zuweitin and Tubug towards Abu Giffa Pass. From here continue to our starting point, El Milga village. Then transfer back to Cairo. Check in to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 8:
Breakfast and check out of hotel.  Assisted transfer to Cairo International airport for final departure.
